AMM Atelier is an independent New York fashion company founded by artist and designer Andrea Mary Marshall. Through the distinct brands Salon 1884 and Andrea Mary Marshall, the company focuses on small scale production, artisanal craftsmanship, and creative development in New York City’s Garment District.

Alongside a successful career in fine art, Marshall has over 15 years of experience spanning creative direction, fashion design, patternmaking, and garment construction, and received her BFA from Parsons School of Design.

AMM Atelier is committed to preserving traditional garment making techniques through local manufacturing, patternmaking, draping, sewing, and specialty construction while supporting the continuation and passing on of skilled craftsmanship to future generations. The company works closely with independent makers and small ateliers in New York City to maintain a more intentional and sustainable approach to fashion production.

Through Salon 1884 and Andrea Mary Marshall, the studio develops distinct creative worlds united by a shared commitment to craftsmanship, authorship, and independent American fashion.
